Ranger Lures

The Ranger lure comes in 8 colors and 4 different sizes. Here you can order the size which best suits the fish species and size you plan to target in proven fish-striking colors.

1 3/4 ounce 4 1/4 inch Ranger (known also as the "bounder"): Suitable for smaller Roosterfish, Jacks & Trevallies, Sierra/Spanish Mackerel, schooling Tuna and Dorado (Mahi) along with assorted reef fishes including Groupers and Snappers. Use with 12lb to 15lb mono or 20lb braid line.

2 1/4 ounce 4 3/4 inch Ranger: Suitable for average to large Roosterfish, Jacks & Trevallies, Pargo (Cubera & Colorado Snapper), Striped Bass, Bluefish, Snook, Tarpon, Needlefish, large Sierra/Spanish Mackerel, Garrick (Leerfish), Tuna and Dorado (Mahi). Use with 15 to 20lb mono or 20lb to 40lb braid line.

3 ounce 5 7/8 inch Ranger: Suitable for large Roosterfish, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Jacks & Trevallies, GT's (Giant Trevally), large Sierra Mackerel, Pargo (Cubera & Colorado Snapper), Snook, Tarpon, Garrick (Leerfish), Tuna and Dorado. Use with 15 to 30lb mono or 20lb to 50lb braid line.

4 ounce 6 inch Ranger (known also as the "Big Shot"): Suitable for huge Roosterfish, Giant Trevally, larger Tuna and Dorado (Mahi). Use with 20 to 30lb mono or 30lb to 60lb braid line.
